Vanessa Kelly has been passionate about plants, the natural world and healing since she was very young. She spent most of her adult life working as one of Perth's premier landscape designers and ran her own successful business from the age of twenty years old. As she matured, she became more interested in holistic healing, shifting her focus , to allow her natural gift as a healer to flourish. once again, Vanessa proved herself to be a valuable asset to those who engaged her services.
A series of traumatic events, ultimately disabled her, leaving her mentally and emotionally unable to function. In her determination to find her way back to health, and by chance, she discovered Iboga and befriended Moughenda Mikala, who would ultimately, take her hand and her dream of healing, became a reality.
Vanessa embarked on a massive journey of self discovery, and healing with Moughenda at the Bwiti village. Eventually with Moughenda's guidance, training and patients, she began to learn about the Bwiti way of life, teachings and ultimately, began training, to enable her to one day, share this precious gift with people in her home country.
Seeing the exceptional value in the medicine and Bwiti teachings, long before she would ever travel to Gabon herself, Vanessa began Iboga Australia, to share her struggle and story , advocate for Iboga, change to legalisation around psychedelics, research, news and awareness about psychedelic assisted therapy, with people all over the world.. Today, she is one of the most prominent voices and Iboga activists in Australia.
Our ultimate vision for Iboga Australia is to enable Iboga therapies, traditional Bwiti practices and healing to all Australians.
We wish to support Moughenda Mikala in his goals and mission, to share this incredible knowledge and medicine, with the world in such a way, that we might as a society and community along with our indigenous counterparts and traditional caretakers of the land, effect healing
We wish to support and preserve, the Bwiti people, culture and traditions, conservation of sacred plants and medicines and promote the model of sharing traditional, knowledge in a way that protects the people , languages, traditions, plant medicines, culture and wisdom..
The proceeds of Moughenda's retreats, trining school, have not only assisted in the preservation of the Bwiti culture allowed it to thrive. Proceeds from Moughenda's organisations have created education, schools, wells for drinking water, hospitals, medical care, connection to electricity and much more.

Vanessa began her building a team of professionals , providers, mental health support services, medical support, rehabilitation services, psychologists and treatment centres, from all over the world, several years ago.
Our recommended providers are Bwiti trained by Moughenda Mikala at the only dedicated traditional Bwiti Training School in the world. His generosity, time and dedication is producing providers, who are considered to be among the best in the world, especially concerning Traditional Iboga practices.
Moughenda is included as a part of the team, because without him, we would not be here or anywhere near it. His continued support, ongoing training, mentorship, guidance and advice when needed are appreciated and accepted with overwhelming gratitude.
Our mission is to provide viable, effective solutions to the current mental health crisis in Australia, along with a multitude of other issues as discussed.
We are dedicated to encouraging research, clinical trials and advocacy, for legalisation, providing informed, educated and honest information about psychedelic plant medicines, safe ethical practices and closing the gap between modern medicine and ancient indigenous knowledge.
